What I can do for you
My role is to help you find the best possible way of connecting with your readers.

I work with you to understand your readers' specific needs and motivations, and then use language that instantly engages by tapping into those needs.

There are always new ways to make words work harder for you — so that your readers feel understood, create greater meaning from them, and then feel inspired to take action.

I work with clients in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors to project-manage, research, write and edit all types of different communication projects.

About me
On the Ball Communications was born almost 29 years ago, the week after my first human baby was born!

After holding senior communication and marketing roles at Faulding Pharmaceuticals, Puddleduck Designs and the Australian Bureau of Statistics, I was quite frankly ready to give up the budget forecasts, production dramas and advertising agency tantrums. I was well-known for my wizardry with words, and so it was time to zoom in my focus and help organisations realise their goals through the power of well-crafted words.
Even though I was happy to leave my old roles behind, my corporate background helps me maintain a "big picture" perspective of organisational structure and communication needs.
As well as loving what I do, I'm pretty well qualified with a Bachelor of Communications majoring in Professional Writing, certificates in Public Relations, Editing and Medical Writing and a Grad Dip in Marketing.
I collaborate with a network of professionals including specialty writers and editors, researchers and community participation experts, graphic artists and web developers. This means On the Ball can tackle any of the projects that the big girls and boys can — but with greater focus, efficiency and creativity. It's the perfect package.
